At the PinchukArtCentre you can find a free library focused on history and theory of Ukrainian and international art of the 20th and 21st.

The library is a part of the PinchukArtCentre’s Research Platform which has the goal of exploring the history of contemporary Ukrainian art.

In the library, you will find Ukrainian and international publications on contemporary art theory, history and criticism, researchers’ monographs, exhibition catalogues and a regularly updated collection of Ukrainian and international art periodicals (Frieze, Artforum, ArtUkraine, ArtNexus, Flash Art, Artreview, Spike, Monopol, NASH, Gallery, VONO, Terra Incognita, 5.6, Krytyka).

The library creates a special archive that contains unique materials from the history of Ukrainian art since late 1980s up to now: photo and video documents, newspapers, specific printed materials (invitations, posters, booklets) etc.
