Each Wednesday, from 9 June 2010, at the PinchulArtCentre, the “Fashion week with Daria Shapovalova” program will screen films from "The Day Before" series by a French documentary film-maker Loïc Prigent.
Five films will be demonstrated altogether – four from “The Day Before” series, including “The Day Before. Jean Paul Gaultier”, “The Day Before. Proenza Schouler”, “The Day Before. Fendi” and “The Day Before. Sonia Rykiel”, along with a film about the top five world models “The life of TOP” co-produced with the French Vogue magazine.
The first film entitled “The Day Before. Jean Paul Gaultier” is dedicated to the famous French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier and was shot during the 24 hours prior to his collection show. The viewer finds out from the film what activities the designer is involved with the day before his show, sees the tense work at the shop and discovers the secrets of the high fashion world.
The film show will commence at 20:00 at the PinchukArtCentre’s SkyArtCafe video lounge on the 6th floor.
