Public Talk with the Artists of the “Self-Employed” Exhibition
On Saturday, August 29, at 14:30, we invite you to a public conversation with the artists of the exhibition “Self-Employed“: Heorhii Hohatadze, Sofiia Liubarska, Volodymyr Moiseienko, Khrystyna Novykova, and Volodymyr Prylutskyi.
During the conversation, the artists will share the ideas and stories behind their projects, as well as discuss what it means to be a young artist today.
- Where do you find resources to work when you don’t have your own studio or stable support?
- What changes when your art moves from a kitchen or apartment into the walls of an institution?
- What really shapes an artist: education, environment, resources, or personal persistence?
- What keeps you making art, even when circumstances don’t make it easy?
This is a chance to talk with the artists and learn more about what stands behind the works on view: how ideas emerge, what they want to talk about through their work, what influences their choices, and how their practice takes shape.
The event will take place on the 2nd floor (PinchukArtCentre reception).
Participation is free with prior registration. The number of spots is limited.
Language of the Event: Ukrainian
Moderator: Oksana Chornobrova — curator of the exhibition “Self-Employed.”
