Meetings with PinchukArtCentre Curators

How can you develop and present your artistic practice? What directions could you explore further in your work? If you feel that a conversation with a curator could help you develop a project, research, or the direction of your practice, we invite you to share your questions with PinchukArtCentre curators. This event may be particularly useful for artists at the early stages of their professional careers.

Individual Meetings

10 artists will have the opportunity to meet with Björn Geldhof, Artistic Director of PinchukArtCentre, and Oleksandra Pogrebnyak, Curator, for individual 20-minute conversations. This is an opportunity to present your work, share ideas, ask questions, and receive feedback.

The meetings will take place on Friday, 13 November, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

To apply, please complete the application form by 11:59 PM on 10 November, including your portfolio and a description of what you would like to discuss with the curators.

As places are limited, participants will be selected based on the clarity of their questions and the thought behind them: why the question matters to you at this stage of your practice, and what kind of answer, perspective, or advice you are looking for.

Open Meeting with a Curator

Artists who are not selected for an individual meeting will have the opportunity to join an open group session with Oleksandra Pogrebnyak on Wednesday, 18 November, at 2:00 PM.

We will discuss how artists can engage with curators, present their artistic practice, develop a portfolio, and build professional connections within the art world. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and contribute to the discussion.

All meetings will take place in person in Kyiv. The venue details will be shared with registered participants in advance.
