Job description

“Architecton of the Bald Mountain” by Kadan is about the restoration of a heritage overshadowed by power, and also about the fact that such reconstruction is not enough: here we find a ruin in the shadow of suprematist pride, the house of a Roma family destroyed during an ultranationalist pogrom in the capital of Ukraine in 2018. The avant-garde is mentioned, but it is challenged, revealing its eternal irony as an artistic paradigm that meant universal hope and progress, but instead drowned in terror and brutal regression.
