Call for Applications: Online Intensive for Art Teachers

We invite art teachers of primary and secondary schools to join the 17th online intensive organized by PinchukArtCentre and the Slava Frolova Foundation for the Development and Support of Young Art in Ukraine.

The intensive will take place October 6–11 and is designed for 50 teachers from across Ukraine. Applications can be submitted until September 29.

During the week-long online intensive, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • attend lectures on current art teaching methods aimed at fostering self-expression and critical thinking in children;
  • broaden their understanding of contemporary art and explore how it can inspire children to come up with bold and unexpected ideas;
  • engage in creative tasks and find innovative solutions together with fellow teachers;
  • receive psychological support and discuss their challenges and ideas with colleagues and course speakers.

The lecturers will share their approaches and experiences in using game-based learning techniques in art education, making complex curriculum topics more engaging and relatable to children’s own experiences. Teachers will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of contemporary art, explore effective strategies for working with children with intellectual disabilities, and receive support for their well-being and the prevention of professional burnout.
