Lecture: “How We Experience Joy: From Cells to Society”
Is it possible to “see” joy at the cellular level?
On Friday, April 24 at 6:30 PM, as part of the public program accompanying the exhibition “Joy”, we invite you to explore the biology of joy — what actually happens in the brain and body when we feel happy.
During the lecture, together with Olha Maslova, we will trace the journey of joy — from biochemical processes within cells to how it manifests in human interaction. We will also try to understand both the universal mechanisms we all share and the individual variations in our responses.
The event will take place on the 3rd floor of PinchukArtCentre, within the exhibition space. Admission is free with prior registration. Language of event: Ukrainian.
