No Rules Painting
Workshop with artists Artem Oliinyk and Anton Saienko
On Thursday, October 2, at 6:30 p.m., we invite you to an evening of large-format painting as part of the exhibition “Good Kind Friendship” by Artem Oliinyk and Liam Ashworth.
The event will take place on the 5th floor in the PinchukArtCentre’s educational room. Participation is free with prior registration. No special drawing skills are required.
The exhibition “Good Kind Friendship” features Artem Oliinyk’s series “Great People,” created in the studio of artist Anton Saienko. They worked side by side, drinking black tea and eating buns. The work process was calm and focused: Artem did his work, Anton did his. At this time, Artem began to paint his loved ones and friends in large format.
We invite you to join Artem Oliinyk and Anton Saienko in a collaborative creative endeavor. Large sheets of paper, paints, music, tea, and Artem’s favorite drink, Pepsi—everything you need for an inspiring evening. Maybe you will paint your friends, or maybe you will find new ones!
About the artists:
- Artem Oliinyk lives in Kyiv, loves walking his dog and practicing karate. He has been participating in the Workshop of Opportunities since 2016.
- Anton Saienko lives in Kyiv and works with various media, combining painting, installation, photography, performance, and land art.
