Workshop “Painting on Anthuriums” — DIY Program

On Thursday, July 9 at 6:30 PM, we invite you to join a workshop as part of the DIY program, where, together with decorator and art practitioner Olena Zdanevych, we will paint on flowers and explore our inner states through color, texture, and interaction with a living form.

Through intuitive painting on anthuriums and working with associative imagery, each participant will create their own painted flower. Throughout the process, participants will have an opportunity to enter a state of attentive self-observation, connect with their feelings and inner images, and explore how emotions and states can be transformed through creativity.

The workshop combines artistic practice, reflection, and experimentation with materials, creating a space for gentle self-exploration and free self-expression. At the end of the session, participants will take home not only their flower as a unique artifact, but also a sense of calm, attentiveness, and inner renewal.

The event will take place on the 5th floor in the educational space of PinchukArtCentre. Participation is free of charge. The number of places is limited. Registration is required.

Olena Zdanevych is a florist and art practitioner who works with flowers as a form of self-expression. In her practice, she combines fresh flowers, dried flowers, preserved plants, and artistic approaches, exploring themes of femininity, sensitivity, and inner emotional states.

DIY Program* is a platform for realizing ideas, where people with different backgrounds share what matters to them, while the art centre team helps bring these ideas to life. It is a space for experimentation and collective creativity, where participants can create things with their own hands and meet people who share similar interests.

DIY (Do It Yourself) — creating something yourself, by hand.
