Educational program for children Walking-Talking: Art-quest at the PinchukArtCentre on December 23

On Sunday, December 23, 2012, at 14:00, the PinchukArtCentre invites 10 to 12 year old children to join the last Walking –Talking class in the context of the exhibition of 21 shortlisted artists for the Future Generation Art Prize 2012. This time the number of participants has been increased to 20.

During the class Tatiana Kochubinska, participant of the Curatorial Platform, and Ludmila Bulanova, PinchukArtCentre’s tour guide, will present current exhibitions of the art centre, and later children will be offered to partake in a theme quiz, art-quest and New Year master class hosted by artist Lesia Khomenko.

The class will start at 14:00 in the reception area on the 2nd floor of the art centre.

Walking –Talking is an educational program held in the context of the exhibition of 21 shortlisted artists for the Future Generation Art Prize 2012. It offers a new series of 7 classes with a mission to introduce young participants to the diversity of contemporary artistic practices from around the world. Children will have the opportunity to study in detail different types of contemporary art forms and their positioning within the museum space. Each class will consist of a theory part delivered in a form of a discussion, and of a practical part – solving a puzzle.
