PinchukArtCentre invites 4-5 year olds to participate in a new educational program Color Bubbles

4 November 2015

PinchukArtCentre invites 4-5 year olds to participate in a new edition of the educational program Color Bubbles. The program is designed to promote better understanding of the art language, to acquaint children with a variety of contemporary art practices, to develop aesthetic sense and encourage creativity in them. The program consists of eight sessions, conducted every Saturday since November 7 and till December 26. Participation is free.

Activities will include theory, discussions, and practical master class where children will be able to try themselves as artists. Through the example of the art works presented in the PinchukArtCentre children will learn about the concepts of color, true and imaginary, emotion, time and associations in art.

On Saturday, November 7, at 12:00 pm there will be the first session of the Color Bubbles “Start of a journey: colorful world of a museum”. During the event, young participants will get to know the museum and learn to distinguish and classify color types. The event will take place on the 5th floor of the art centre, in the Educational Room.

The classes will be held by Anna Honchar and Lora Ishchenko, PinchukArtCentre guides.

Advanced registration is obligatory. Group size is limited to 10 participants.
