VOSTOK is an independent music label and digital platform representing the Donbas electronic scene. The label was established in 2019 following a successful cognominal series of parties. Its first release – compilation VOSTOK – was on the APRIZE 2019 long-list of albums of the year. VOSTOK is a joint initiative of the Luhansk Contemporary Diaspora and Donetsk formation PRISMA.

Luhansk Contemporary Diaspora is an informal creative collective established in 2015 by artists who resettled from Luhansk, working with the theme of the armed conflict, its social and cultural background and implications. At present, in addition to the resettled artists, the collective includes members residing in Luhansk. In the process of quest for new effective expression tools, the group experiments with various media and vectors of cultural activity.
