Online Intensive for Art Teachers
Intensive Course for School Art Teachers
Being an art teacher today is more than just lessons. It’s about being attentive, present, and creating a safe space where children can express themselves, explore, have doubts, experience emotions, and make discoveries.
How can you support children, inspire them to explore the world through creativity, and at the same time take care of your own energy and well-being? It’s especially important not to go through this alone. What truly helps you move forward is an environment built on trust, support, sharing, and a shared belief in the power of art.
This week-long online intensive for primary and middle school art teachers is an opportunity not only to gain new ideas for teaching, but also to feel empowered and become part of a vibrant community of like-minded educators. Participants will explore contemporary approaches to art education, receive psychological support, and exchange experiences with peers and course experts.
The program combines video lectures, live Zoom sessions, discussions of current topics and challenges, practical tools, and creative assignments.
Launched in 2019 in partnership with the Slava Frolova Foundation for the Development and Support of Young Art in Ukraine, the course has since brought together over 600 educators from across the country.
The next course will take place on October 6-12, 2025. We are inviting 50 teachers from across Ukraine to participate. Participation is free, and selection is based on motivation and teaching needs.
Program partners:
Ranok Publishing, Antoshka, EdCamp Ukraine, ROSA — a leading Ukrainian manufacturer of professional painting materials.
