Born in 1964. He resides and works in New Deli, India. Subodh Gupta is one of the most celebrated Indian artists. His work encompasses sculpture, installation, painting, photograph, performance and video. His most recognized works of art include sculptures and installations made of metal kitchen hardware. Subodh Gupta transforms India’s icons of every day life into the works of art readable for the whole world. He participated in the Venice Biennale, Frieze in London and had his works on display at the major global art museums such as Tate and MoMA.
