On Saturday, November 24, 2012, at 17:00 the PinchukArtCentre invites the public to a lecture “Museum branding. Technologies of creation and maintenance” given by Denys Belkevych, art management and marketing expert, and project manager of the Petr Konchalovsky Foundation. The event will be held in the video-lounge on the 6th floor of the art centre. Admission is free.
Lecture attendees will learn what “museum brand” is and how it differs from other commercial and cultural brands, and will become familiar with the concepts of internal and external branding. Denis Belkevych will tell how to create a “museum from scratch” and will share experience of the world’s leading institutions and professionals. The event participants will analyze branding of Ukrainian museums and its flaws, and also will take part in an interactive game of creating a museum and applying marketing techniques.
