Starting from September 6, the PinchukArtCentre invites 4-5 year olds to participate in a new course of educational program Color Bubbles. The program is designed to promote better understanding of the art language, to acquaint children with a variety of contemporary art practices, to develop aesthetic sense and encourage creativity in them.
The program will consist of five sessions conducted by specialists of the PinchukArtCentre, as well as invited artists, educators and art critics. Activities will include theory, discussions, and practical master class where children will be able to try themselves as artists. In the first series of classes, through the example of the art works presented in the PinchukArtCentre children will learn about the concepts of color, emotion, time, associations, and etc.
On Saturday, September 6, at 12:00 pm there will be the first session of the Color Bubbles “Colors: colorful world around us.” During the event, young participants will view selected art objects presented at the art center, and learn to distinguish and classify color types: light/dark, warm/cold, bright/dull, and etc. The event will take place on the 5th floor of the art centre, in the Educational Room.
Advance registration is a must. Maximum number of children in a group is 10.
