New educational programme “Twister” for 8-11 year olds at the PinchukArtCentre

From November 7, 2014, the PinchukArtCentre launches a new educational programme entitled “Twister” for children aged 8-11 years. A series of fascinating educational games, developed by PinchukArtCentre team, will help young visitors become better at understanding the language of contemporary art, look differently at the shown artworks and find out the most interesting facts about the life and career of their authors. 

During the lessons kids, by playing, will be filled into the genres and forms of art, will discuss the content of artworks, will try themselves as a modern artists and will create their own museum of contemporary art.

The event will be hosted by the PinchukArtCentre’s guides Lora Ischenko and Ania Honchar.

On Friday, November 7, at 16:00 the PinchukArtCentre invites kids to the first “Twister” session entitled “Guess an idea”. Firstly, walked by the guide will head into the exhibition space of PinchukArtCentre - intricate corridors, dark rooms, secret chambers and mysterious artworks.

Finding themselves in front of the game field - the embodiment of the Future Generation Art Prize exhibition, children will be able to unravel the ideas contained in the works. Step by step, throwing dice and moving forward, young participants will decrypt all secret meanings of works.

The class will start on the 2nd floor at the information desk.

Participation is free of charge. Advance registration is compulsory. The group size is limited to 15 participants.
