The PinchukArtCentre, Kyiv, Ukraine, opened the application procedure for the fourth edition of the PinchukArtCentre Prize, the first nationwide award in contemporary art for young Ukrainian artists up to 35. The applications should be submitted via the competition’s website prize.pinchukartcentre.org from February 9 until May 17, 2015.
20 shortlisted artists will be chosen and announced by the Selection Committee in June 2015. They will receive an exhibition at the PinchukArtCentre in Kyiv, Ukraine from October 2015 to January 2016. The winners of the Prize will be announced by the International Jury at the Award Ceremony in December 2015.
The Main Prize, two Special Prizes and the Public Choice Prize will be awarded within the framework of the PinchukArtCentre Prize:
- The Main Prize is UAH 100 000 and includes internship in the studios of the world leading artists;
- Two Special Prizes is UAH 25 000 each and include internship in the studios of the world leading artists;
- The Public Choice Prize is UAH 10 000. The winner of the Public Choice Prize will be determined by votes of the visitors attending the exhibition of the shortlisted artists.
The winner of the Main Prize will be automatically included in the shortlist of the Future Generation Art Prize 2016 – an International Art Prize for young artists.

The PinchukArtCentre Prize is a biannual prize awarded to the best Ukrainian artists up to 35, starting from 2009. Funded by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation it is aimed at fostering, supporting and developing a new generation of young Ukrainian artists.
Individual artists, as well as groups of artists with Ukrainian citizenship working with any genre of contemporary art are allowed to participate in the competition. One artist (or a group of artists) may submit from 3 to 7 works. The applications should be submitted according to the PinchukArtCentre Prize Rules. The primary selection shall be performed by the Selection Committee consisting of art centre curators and contemporary art experts.
Starting from the first edition the PinchukArtCentre Prize attracted more than 3000 applicants from all regions of Ukraine.
