The PinchukArtCentre announces enrollment of participants for the Guide Summer School that will be taking place at the art centre on August 2 through 13. The programme has been established for young people aged 16 to 20 y.o. who are interested in contemporary art and willing to try themselves as guides at the PinchukArtCentre.
In the course of four classes with a team of the art centre guides, the participants will have an opportunity to explore the institution’s space, enrich their knowledge on contemporary art and learn to answer unexpected questions. The finalists of the course will have a chance to host a guided tour of the PinchukArtCentre visitors.
Programme of the classes:
- 2 August: workshop “ PinchukArtCentre’s particularity as an art institution”;
- 4 August: workshop “What is contemporary art?”;
- 9 August:workshop “How to speak about art?”;
- 11 August: quest tour through the current exhibitions at the PinchukArtCentre;
- 13 August: open guided tour by finalists for the PinchukArtCentre visitors.
The programme participation is free. The registration is open until 31 July at the link. The number of participants is limited.
