NewsThe PinchukArtCentre has launched new educational and entertainment formats on its pages on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube social networks, with the aim of introducing Ukrainians to contemporary art and keeping them in mood during the pandemic of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Just like before the quarantine, the art centre offers activities for children, families and grownups as well as inclusive classes.
The PinchukArtCentre has started posting online comic strips “Art in Quarantine”, inciting Ukrainians to follow the quarantine rules and to get familiar with art.
Following recent city and governmental action to prevent spread of the coronavirus, PinchukArtCentre will be closing its doors and suspend any public events till the end of March.
The first session will be held on March 13, 2020. The workgroup will hold 4 sessions. By the end of April the results will be published.

The PinchukArtCentre’s Research Platform announces its updated approach to archiving and understanding of Ukrainian contemporary art. In order to broaden the views on the history of Ukrainian art and deepen research methodology skills, the art centre introduces a new system of visiting curators at the Research Platform, both Ukrainian and international.
A unique way of presenting artworks highlights the 16 year long tradition of YES to bring art at the heart of political discussion. The active support of some of best artists globally equally shows the shared belief that art is a changemaker provoking and influencing discussion.
