On 26 June 2013, the 20 shortlisted nominees for the PinchukArtCentre Prize 2013, a nationwide prize in contemporary art for young Ukrainian artists, have been announced. The short list has been formed by the Selection Committee based on the results of the selection among more than 1 000 applications submitted by young artist from all regions of Ukraine and foreign countries
From June 17, 2013, the PinchukArtCentre will host the RUTARUNA project. The programme gives the young artists possibility to implement theoretical and practical cross-investigations in the critical and creative contexts of both countries.
On Thursday, June 13, 2013, at 19:30 the PinchukArtCentre invites to lecture by Hungarian art historian and curator Rona Kopeczky. The lecture will be held in the context of the “China China”, a major group exhibition including eleven Chinese artists of different generations, focusing on the tension between individuality and collective thinking.
