The PinchukArtCentre presents “The Bank” by Nicolas Grospierre - the fourth one-week solo exhibition in the context of Transfer. Transfer is an exchange programme to promote and support new generation of Ukrainian artists abroad and to offer a dynamic view on young Polish art in Ukraine. This is a common project of the PinchukArtCentre and the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle (Warsaw, Poland)

The PinchukArtCentre and British Council Ukraine present the first public talk within the Open Study Programme, featuring curator the Royal Academy Norman Rosenthal. The talk will take place on Thursday, September 20, at 19:00 at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in the Main Hall (60, Volodymyrska str., Red building). Admission is free

On Wednesday, September 12, at 19:00, PinchukArtCentre invites to a special lecture “Team Players. Polish Artist Groups” by Agnieszka Pindera, an independent curator based in Warsaw and a member of International Association of Art Critics (AICA)

Mykyta Kadan, artist, winner of the Main Prize of the PinchukArtCentre 2011, together with Maria Lanko, participant of the PinchukArtCentre’s Curatorial Platform will talk about his involvement in the project, and will share his thoughts about the exhibitions of Polish artists Monika Zawadzki, Agnieszka Poland and Konrad Smolenski presented earlier in the PinchukArtCentre within the Transfer project

On Saturday, September 8, at 15:00 the PinchukArtCentre will host Saturday Talk devoted to some of the completed or just conceptualised architectural experiments by Anish Kapoor that are presented at the PinchukArtCentre in a form of models and sketches

On Sunday, September 9, at 18:00, PinchukArtCentre invites on a special lecture “Movement, Sound and Image – Polish Video Art from the Historic Perspective and Nowadays” by Ewa Gorzadek, Polish art critic and chief curator at the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle. The lecture will be held in the context of Transfer of program

The PinchukArtCentre opens applications for Understanding the Museum – a new educational programme developed by the art centre specialists for teens aged 14 to 16. This special course introduces young participants to the practices of contemporary art in the context of a professional institution. The second edition of Understanding the Museum will last from September 8 to September 30, 2012. Participation is free of charge
