Workshop “Plastic Lines of Portrait” – DIY Program
A portrait can seem difficult and a little intimidating. Sometimes the hardest part is simply starting — allowing yourself to make the first line.
On Thursday, April 30 at 18:30, we invite you to a workshop within the DIY program, together with artist Maryna Prymuk, where you’ll have a chance to let go of the fear of portrait-making and the worry of “doing it wrong.”
We will work with the portrait in two states — as a drawing and as an object. First, we will create a portrait using a single continuous line. Then we will transform it into a wire-based sculptural piece.
This is a practice about attention to line and detail, a personal way of seeing, creative confidence, and a shared experience with others.
The workshop is open to adults of all levels. No prior drawing experience is required.
The workshop will take place on the 5th floor, in the education room at PinchukArtCentre.
Participation is free, but spots are limited, so registration is required.
The DIY program is a platform for bringing ideas to life, where participants share what matters to them and the art center team helps make it happen. It’s a space for experimentation and collaborative creativity—a chance to make something with your own hands and meet people with similar interests.
