Biography

Born in the town of Vradiivka, Mykolaiv region, Ukrainian SSR. His father was an agricultural scientist, and his mother held the position of head of the Mykolaiv Regional Department of Culture

1972 - 1974

Studying at the Mykolaiv Children's Art School

1974 - ?

Studied at the Republican Art Secondary School named after T. H. Shevchenko in the painting department (now — Taras Shevchenko State Art Secondary School)

1978 - 1979

Worked as a typeface artist at the Mykolaiv Art Fund

1979 - 1984

Studying at the Lviv State Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts (now— Lviv National Academy of Arts)

1984 - 1986

Served in the military at the unit Makarov-1, where he met Kostyantyn (Vinni) Reunov

1988 - present

Marriage to Marina Skugaryova

1988 - May 1992

Together with Maryna Skugaryova, Kostyantyn (Vinni) Ryunov, and Yana Bystrova, he lived and worked in Moscow in the squats "Furmannyy Lane" and "Trokhprudny Lane"

1987 - 1992

Together with Kostyantyn (Vinny) Reunov, developed the program“The Volitional Edge of National Post-Eclecticism” (“Limits of Efforts of National Post-Eclecticism”)

Cooperates with curator Olga Sviblova

Within the cultural exchange program, scholarships from the Christoph Merian Stiftung foundation are received together with Marina Skugaryova, with whom they moved to Basel, where they held several exhibitions together with Gia Japaridze, Andre Clement, Suzette Beck, Ronald Wütrich, Ilze Ermen
