On Friday, June 12 at 6:30 PM, we invite you to join a curatorial tour with Oksana Chornobrova, curator of the exhibition Self-Employed.

During the tour, Oksana will discuss the exhibition’s concept, including why the artworks are placed not in the galleries but on staircases, shelves, and in the niches of the art centre, and what this display strategy reveals about the position of emerging artists within the art world.

Particular attention will be given to each work in the exhibition and the challenges faced by young artists today. These include the value of artistic labour within the attention economy, the need to balance creative practice with earning a living, the search for visibility in an oversaturated information landscape, and working within an environment that often remains unstable and precarious.

The tour will begin on the 2nd floor of PinchukArtCentre. Admission is free, with prior registration required.
