The PinchukArtCentre (Kyiv, Ukraine) is pleased to announce Requiem, a major retrospective of over 100 works dating from 1990 to 2008, by Damien Hirst. Requiem opens on 25th April and continues through 20th September 2009

On 25 February 2009 the names of the 20 shortlisted nominees for the PinchukArtCentre Prize, a nationwide prize in contemporary art for young Ukrainian artists, have been announced. The short list has been formed according to the results of the primary selection conducted by the Expert Committee

On 15 January 2009 the deadline for submission of applications for the PinchukArtCentre Prize was closed. PinchukArtCentre Prize is the first private nationwide art prize in Ukraine, which objective is to produce, support and develop a new generation of young Ukrainian artists working in contemporary art

On 17 January, the PinchukArtCentre will present two concurrent and large-scale exhibitions: the first solo exhibition in Eastern Europe by the British artist - Sam Taylor-Wood; and 21 RUSSIA – a group exhibition of the contemporary Russian artists including: Group AES+F, Victor Alimpiev, Piotr Bely, Dmitry Gutov, Vladimir Dubosarsky and Alexander Vinogradov, Konstantin Zvezdochetov along with many others.
