On September 20, at 20:00 Belgium sociologist Pascal Gielen will give a lecture “Fragile Territories” on exchange and use value of art and land in the frameworks of public program accompanying the PinchukArtCentre’s “Fragile State” exhibition.
On 15 May, at 7 p.m., the PinchukArtCentre will present an electronic version of the book “Parcommune. Place. Community. Phenomenon" that will become the first large-scale published research of the art centre, and will be dedicated to the famous Kyiv squat “Parcommune”.
PinchukArtCentre announces the start of the 2nd course of the program " Vision Techniques " for students of 1-2 courses of universities, which will take place during the 4 Saturdays, starting from 23 July.

SUMMERpropaganda is a series of the public film screenings and discussions held in the context of “Fear and Hope” show - a group exhibition of three Ukrainian artists Nikita Kadan,
Zhanna Kadyrova and Artem Volokitin. “Fear and Hope” is an urgent artistic response to the new sociopolitical context of Ukraine formed by recent events in the country and ongoing crisis. Art works presented within the exhibition cover topics of memory, nostalgia and history, heritage and the role of media in the modern world, thus creating a platform for discussions that go beyond visual arts.

On Sunday, May 25, at 12:00 the PinchukArtCentre invites children aged 4 to 6 years to a Family Sunday class Reality and Fantasy, where children will discuss borders between true and imaginary.
At 19:00 the PinchukArtCentre invites to attend the Public Talk in a framework of “TV Studios / Rooms without Doors”, the solo show by Ukrainian artist Alevtina Kakhidze that opened a new exhibitions series of the “PAC-UA Re-consideration”. The aim of the Re-consideration is to research the relations and influences between Ukrainian art scene of today and artistic practices of the past.
At 12:00 pm there will be the first session of the Color Bubbles “Colors: colorful world around us.” During the event, young participants will view hyper-realistic paintings by Marc Quinn entitled “The 5th season” with exotic flowers, fruits and berries. Following that they will learn to distinguish and classify color types: light/dark, warm/cold, bright/dull, and etc. The event will take place on the 5th floor of the art centre, in the Educational Room.
