The PinchukArtCentre opens applications for the second edition of the internship programme StudentLab which is designed for the 3rd and 4th year university students who take an interest in contemporary art but do not study it professionally. The project is meant to engage student in a deeper study of contemporary art basing on the one’s experience and knowledge within vocation-related subjects.
The internship programme will last from November 10 to December 26, 2014. Participation is free of charge.
StudentLab’s participants will explore Future Generation Art Price 2014 Nominees’ works, history, structure and functions of the institution and will participate in meetings and discussions with PinchukArtCentre team and guests. The practice part of the internship will lie in working with the visitors, own projects development and realization as well as writing an essay in the end of the program.
Participants who will successfully complete the program will receive the PinchukArtCentre StudentLab certificate, and will be offered an opportunity to publish their essays in the on-line magazine KORYDOR.
The programme is developed by the Education Department of the PinchukArtCentre and is supported by the on-line contemporary culture magazine KORYDOR.
Candidate requirements:
- 3rd or 4th year Ukrainian university student from any field of study except cultural studies and history of art;
- English language (preferably Upper-Intermediate or higher level);
- Ability to attend all programme activities within the set dates.

The realization of «StudentLab» program began in summer 2014 in the framework of “Fear and Hope” exhibition. Among more than 200 applications were chosen 6 participants, studying law, philology, cybernetics, journalism and sociology in Kyiv universities.
