Artist talk: Tetiana Zhmurko in conversation with Lesia Khomenko

The event will take place on the 4th floor of the PinchukArtCentre in the exhibition space.
Admission is free with prior registration.

Tetyana Zhmurko will talk with Lesya Khomenko about her artistic practice and approach to painting, as well as the themes and ideas she explores in her works. The artist will also talk about the creation of new monumental canvases in her studio at the Central Railway Station — one of them can now be seen at the PinchukArtCentre, and the other in the central hall of the Kyiv railway station.

Her works are held in leading European museums, including M HKA (Belgium), the Ludwig Museum (Hungary), and the Albertinum (Germany), and her exhibitions have been held at the Venice Biennale, the Folkwang Museum, and the Ukrainian Museum in New York.

Tetyana Zhmurko is an art historian, curator, head of the research department of 20th-century art at the National Art Museum of Ukraine, and researcher at the National Art Museum of Ukraine.
