The PinchukArtCentre invites visitors to the Night at the Museum which will take place on May 18 as part of the China China exhibition opening and international event Night of Museums. Especially for the admirers of the contemporary art and those who want to be the first to see exhibition of the Chinese artists, the art centre will stay open until 24:00. The visitors arriving to the event dressed in pyjamas will be offered priority entry to the art centre.

On May 18, 2013 the PinchukArtCentre (Kyiv, Ukraine) will present “China China”, a major group exhibition including eleven Chinese artists of different generations, focusing on the tension between individuality and collective thinking. A subject, which not only defined Chinese history and continuously shapes contemporary society but equally gains importance in the West.

On April 28 the PinchukArtCentre stops applications for the PinchukArtCentre Prize 2013 - a nationwide prize in contemporary art to young Ukrainian artists. On-line submission of works for the competition is ongoing at prize.pinchukartcentre.org

On Friday, April 19, 2013, at 19:30 the PinchukArtCentre invites to watch a documentary about Holocaust in Ukraine Spell Your Name (2006)  directed by Sergey Bukovsky. The screening will be held in the context of the exhibition of Jake and Dinos Chapman and their work The Sum of all Evil based on historical events including the discovery in Babi Yar (1941) of the Ukrainian mass grave where the Nazi occupier executed more than 30,000 Jews in just two days.

On Thursday, April 18, at 19:00 Deputy Artistic Director of the PinchukArtCentre
Bjorn Geldhof will guide a tour of the exhibition “agentic iced etcetera” by Tony Oursler. He will analyze art works presented at the show and explain artistic position of the artist.

On Sunday, April 10, 2013, at 19:30 the PinchukArtCentre invites to a reading of the play by a Ukrainian play writer Maksym Kurichkin Vodka, F...ing, and Television (2004). The event will be held under the literature program of the art centre, being the second happening dedicated to the readings of the contemporary drama.
